Underlayment comes in many varieties and densities for a multitude of applications. Some of the different types of underlayment are as follows:

For Carpet – Carpet padding comes in different weights and thicknesses. It exponentially increases the density of your new flooring for a more luxurious feel. It also provides insulation and noise reduction.

For Sheet Vinyl – Hydrostatic paper can be used prior to installing rolled vinyl goods when increased moisture is detected in the sub-floor.

Other types of underlayment may be used for noise reduction as well as increasing stability and support for many other flooring systems including Hardwood, Engineered Floors, Laminates, SPCs and LVPs.

Wood wall bases are the standard for upscale residences. Available in a variety of styles and heights, we can readily obtain any quantity needed for your job. For a more cost-effective solution, we also offer Composite wall bases.

Vinyl Wall Bases come in various heights ranging from 2.5” to 8.0” and in a multitude of colors. Perfect for offices and store fronts. Vinyl mill work is commonly used in hospitals and hospitality settings.

Transitions produce a proper finish when changing over from one area to another. It creates cohesion where two different floors meet, such as carpet to ceramic tile, for example. Transitions protect the edge of both surfaces while allowing for an unobstructed walking area. Transition may be made of wood, metal, or vinyl. The vinyl transitions come in a variety of styles and colors.
